You do not need a full teardown to get value. Start here:
Structure and timing
Are delay timings still aligned with real buying behavior?
Do emails fire too close together or too far apart?
Are there legacy branches that no longer serve a purpose?
Links and paths
Do emails send people to the best destination?
Are dynamic links used where intent is already high?
Are any links generic, outdated, or unnecessary?
Incentives and logic
Are discounts conditional or blanket?
Do repeat non-converters get different treatment than first-time shoppers?
Are incentives clearly explained, including product eligibility?
Properties and triggers
Are date and custom properties still being populated?
Are property updates live and configured correctly?
Are people actually entering every flow you expect them to?
Content and clarity
Does each email do one clear job?
Are expectations set early in longer flows?
Is anything assumed that should be stated plainly?
If you improve even one or two of these areas, you are already moving forward.
